I’ll be honest—this machine was a little intimidating for me at first. As someone who is almost 48 and not super familiar with making specialty coffee drinks or espresso-based beverages, there was definitely a learning curve. The features are impressive, but it took me some time to understand how everything worked.That said, my 20-year-old son works at Starbucks and has much more experience with espresso machines, and he feels this is a very solid home machine. He primarily uses it for the espresso function and has been really happy with the results. It pulls good shots, works consistently, and has held up well with regular use several times a week for the last 9 months.Is it commercial-level quality? No. But for home use, especially if you enjoy espresso drinks and are willing to spend a little time learning the machine, it absolutely gets the job done.

It’s great and all but the pump is really not that strong as they claim. The steam want also has limited maneuverability for some reason and the steam function isn’t all that great. I think it’s worth waiting for bambino to go on sale and get it. I thought this would be an upgrade from the bambino but I ended up going back. It just feels better quality. But this machine has lots of different features and things you cns control that you can’t on the bambino.

I am a coffee junkie. Love my morning Starbucks, but the prices have just been getting too much for 2-3 Venti Lattes. Figured I would try this with the intention of using it when I could not stop at Bucks, or entertaining. After a rather long learning curve on how to use it (I am the slow one, not that it is actually hard to use) this became a daily ritual I absolutely love. Put any bean you want, cheap or fancy, in the grinder and it measures exactly what you need. Make the expresso shot then press and wait about 5 seconds for the frother to heat up (I was not waiting for the frother to heat up and kept getting an error message... Literally took a week for me to figure that out). Pour in flavors to the frothering milk then your expresso and in literally 3 minutes you have a delicious latte or cappaccino.I calculated how much I saved and within one month this paid for itself versus Starbucks. SCORE! It fits in with any modern kitchen and is so easy to use... After you realize it is you making it hard to use not the machine. You will love it.

I love lattes, and this machine makes it easy to grind, tamp, and pull a solid shot in one place. The LED touch panel is clear, the 6-step grinder is convenient, and the assisted tamper helps keep things consistent. Espresso quality is strong with nice crema once you dial in the grind. The 50oz tank and built-in storage keep my counter tidy. No leaks so far, and the mostly plastic build still feels sturdy for the price.My only real struggle is the steam wand. It can make microfoam, but getting latte-art texture is tricky. I’m still learning, and I tend to steam a bit too long because I like a hotter latte, which leaves the milk too thick to draw with. After a couple drinks in a row the machine also benefits from a short cooldown.Overall, great value if you want a capable all-in-one for daily espresso and milk drinks, with some practice needed for perfect latte art.
